August Edition
Training and Technical Assistance Offerings
On behalf of all of us here at DCPCA, thank you for all that you are doing to respond to the COVID-19 emergency. Your work is saving lives. We have postponed many of our trainings given new demands on health center staff. We are sending a separate weekly COVID-19 newsletter to our members with resources (including upcoming COVID-19 trainings and meetings) to inform clinical and operational decisions. If you need any support, please reach out to our team at communications@dcpca.org and we can direct you to a PCA staff person who can provide the appropriate response.

Preparing for Value-Based Care through Sustainable Telehealth Workflows

Date: Thursday, August 27, 2020
Time: 2:00 p.m. EDT

The whole health system is moving as fast as possible to counteract the effects of COVID-19 on their patient population and their overhead as a whole. Telehealth has been an effective tool for treating patients remotely and ensuring any on-premise patients and staff stay safe. Some health centers are treating telehealth as a Crisis Management Tool rather than a tool to improve the health of their patients in a cost-efficient and outcome-driven way. So how can you prepare your FQHC to use telehealth during the current PHE and ensure you’re ready for the shift to Value-Based Care? We will cover sustainable telehealth services that are often underutilized and example workflows that have worked for other health centers during this session.
