Governor Walz Issues Executive Order 20-40 First Step to Re-Opening Businesses
 
Minnesota has made progress on slowing the spread of COVID-19 because of adherence to our  Stay at Home order , and we need to continue social distancing practices to save lives.

Executive Order 20-40 begins the process of safely returning Minnesotans to work, starting with workers in non-customer facing industrial and office-based businesses who cannot work from home. Guidance on what businesses are allowed to return to work under EO 20-40  can be found here.

MN Congressional District 2 Community Resource Guide

In the past week, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) programs ran out of funding. It appears that an emergency supplemental package will provide additional funding for small business PPP loans, help for hospitals, EIDL program and testing. Angie Craig and her staff put together a  guide to community resources  and seven additional fact sheets to help navigate assistance that may be available.
