DES IDA CRISP RECEIVES NOTE FROM AUTHOR
Dade Elementary School’s fourth-grade teacher, Mrs. Bethany Miller, encourages her students to choose from several extension activities when they finish their daily work. Ida Crisp looked at her many choices and decided to write a letter to her favorite author, Dav Pilkey. This week, Ida and her teacher were delighted when the famous author sent a reply. Thank you, Mrs. Miller, for allowing students to apply their writing skills authentically. #TeamDadeGa.
BETA CLUB STUDENTS BRING HOME HARDWARE
Several DCHS students recently competed at the Georiga State BETA Club Competition and three students brought home hardware!🏆 Congratulations to Ellie Burick - Creative Writing Champion; Harper Van Dusen - 4th Place Social Studies; and Liam Davison - 2nd Place Math. #TeamDadeGa.
DCHS BROADCAST STUDENTS FEATURED ON WDEF
Several DCHS Audio / Video Broadcast students were recently featured on WDEF's What's Right With Our Schools segment. The students recently competed in a contest with the Governor's Office of Highway Safety. Click HERE to see the video.

The Dade County Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting this evening, December 11, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Dade County Board of Education building located at 52 Tradition Lane Trenton, GA. 30752.
