DMS REACH Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to DMS 8th grade students Jerzee Crabtree & Gabriel Yarbrough for being selected as 2021 REACH Scholars. They are both eligible for the REACH scholarships valued at $10,000 each after graduating high school. For more information on the REACH Georgia Scholarship Program, click HERE.
Congratulations to DCHS HOSA Students
These two DCHS students are part of the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) organization and recently placed among the Top 10 in Region Competition in the EMT Division. They will soon represent DCHS at the 2021 State Leadership Conference. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!
Congratulations DCHS & DMS Cheerleading Teams
The DCHS & DMS Competition Cheerleading Teams were both in action over the weekend. The DCHS Cheerleaders took 1st Place at the Dalton Tournament and DMS Cheerleaders took 4th Place at Lafayette. Congratulations to both teams and their coaches! Click HERE to see the DCHS Cheerleaders in action!
COVID-19 Weekly Report
Dade County Schools reported two new positive COVID-19 cases and thirty quarantines on 1/22/2021.
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is operating the Georgia COVID-19 Emotional Support Line to assist people who have been emotionally, physically, or financially impacted by COVID-19. Click HERE for more information.
DES Lori Case Receives Golden Apple Award
