Optimist Club's Oratorical Contest
The Trenton Dade Optimist Club hosted the annual Oratorical Contest on Friday February 19, 2021 via Zoom. Students from all four schools participated in the contest and the top two contestants will advance to the next level to represent Dade County Schools. Those top two contestants are: Dade Elementary student Evie Wood (pictured top left) and Dade Middle School student Makaela Chance (pictured bottom right). Also pictured are Davis Elementary's top two finalists: Makensy Cooper (top right) and Eli Garrett (bottom left). Congratulations on a job well done!

Read Across America Week March 1st - 5th
Davis Elementary will celebrate Read Across America Week March 1st - 5th. Students are encouraged to participate by following the daily activities that are listed on screen or click HERE.
Dr. Seuss Day, originally inaugurated by the National Education Association (NEA), is a day designed to encourage children to read. Dr. Seuss Day will be observed nationwide on Tuesday March 2, 2021. Research shows that children perform better in school the more they read!
