GA Milestones Testing Begins This Week!
DCS elementary (3rd - 5th grades) and all middle school students will begin participating in the GA Milestones, End of Grade (EOG) testing this week. If you have particular questions about the EOG requirements, please feel free to contact the school principal. If your student is currently a virtual student, please direct your questions to Ms. Patti Johnson, Director of Academics (pattijohnson@dadecs.org). DCS Chorus To Host Spring Concert May 6th
DCS Chorus will host an outdoor event at the New Salem Community Center on May 6, 2021 beginning at 6:30PM. For more information on this event, please contact DCS Chorus Teacher Ms. Gabrielle Haston (gabriellehaston@dadecs.org).
Does Your Student Need An Athletic Physical
Students that plan to participate in athletics at DMS or DCHS for the 2021-2022 school year must have a current physical on file. Therefore, if your student needs a new sports physical, he/she will have an opportunity to receive an exam at DCHS on April 28th from 12:30PM - 4:30PM! Cost of the physicals will be $18. Congratulations To Noah Hodges
Noah Hodges is going to continue his athletic and academic pursuits at Sewanee The University Of The South. DCHS states the following: "we are proud of him and can't wait to see him succeed at the collegiate level. In the meantime, we are looking forward to seeing him in the DCHS production of Shrek the Musical. Congratulations Noah!"
