FACADE GRANT APPLICATION UPDATE | |

Applications for the Facade Grant are not yet open, but commercial property owners should be thinking about whether they will apply for this year's grant cycle. An announcement will be made once we begin to accept applications.
Design changes that take place at commercial properties are a critical part of any successful revitalization strategy. The Facade Grant program provides financial assistance to select owners looking to renovate or restore the exterior of their buildings.

Call to Action Gathering

Venture North Funding and USDA Rural Development are cohosting a gathering to increase the understanding and use of financial resources designed to help small businesses and communities in Manistee County. This gathering is for business owners interested in growth and development, those interested in starting a business, and business owners interested in no-cost consulting to fill gaps or address issues that are holding them back.
There will be two sessions:

The Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce's Manistee Area Leadership Program celebrates a decade through its 10th cohort!
Through this program, current and prospective leaders will acquire knowledge of the strengths, trends, and issues within Manistee County with the goal of participants identifying and getting involved in ways of affecting change.

"The 'Stee" SOCIAL DISTRICT | | |

The 'Stee Social District is open 7 days a week from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
This is a designated area, opened by the DDA and Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce, where patrons ages 21 + can purchase an alcoholic beverage from participating establishments in a logo cup and can carry/consume it outdoors within the parameters of the district.
Please be following the social district rules so that we can all enjoy the district safely.
