A Video of Bishop Holguín's Construction Record
One of the hallmarks of the 26 years of the episcopate of the Rt. Rev. Julio C. Holguín in the Diocese of the Dominican Republic has been the construction of many churches, schools, conference centers, and other facilities. The Diocese has published a list of these buildings constructed between 1991 and 2017, and the Dominican Development Group has created this video with photographs of all of the churches, schools, and conference centers on the list to honor Bishop Holguín upon his retirement.

Diocesan Leadership Transition November 1-4, 2017
The Rt. Rev. Julio C. Holguín Khoury, Bishop of the Diocese of the Dominican Republic since 1991, will retire as Diocesan on November 1, 2017. The end of his episcopate will be marked by a worship service at Epiphany Cathedral in Santo Domingo at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1. On Saturday, November 4, the Rt. Rev. Moisés Quezada Mota will be seated as Bishop Diocesan during another worship service at Epiphany at 10 a.m., to be followed by a
reception in the cathedral's courtyard afterwards. Members of the Board of Directors of the Dominican Development Group and its Executive Director, Bill Kunkle, will be attending both events. The December issue of the DDG's bilingual quarterly magazine, Compañeros Dominicanos,
will have
several pages of photographs and articles about both histor
ic events in the life of the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic.

DDG Board Meeting November 6, 2017
The Board of Directors of the Dominican Development Group will meet in the Obispo Holly conference room in the diocesan office building in Santo Domingo on November 6, 2017. A preliminary agenda for that meeting is available
