It is our responsibility to educate the importance of Oral Hygiene amongst our community! I encourage you this month to promote your profession as many chances as you get and celebrate what you do!
A large part of being a Hygienist is becoming a member of ADHA and participating in your local component, which is us! WE love supporting you and all the things you do! If you are a current member, thank you for your continued support in our profession! If you are not yet a member, we welcome you to join! DDHA Senior Student Scholarships Open Oct 1st!
DDHA strives to provide support and resources to the Dallas area students. This is accomplished through mentorship and scholarships to each of the dental hygiene schools in our area.
Scholarships are available for the following programs:
Concorde Dental Hygiene Program
Dallas College Dental Hygiene Program
Texas A&M Dental Hygiene Program
Scholarships OPEN Wednesday, October 1st, 2025.
All scholarship materials must be received no later than Wednesday, December 31st, 2025.
Scholarships will be presented at Student Night on Friday, January 23rd, 2026.

TDHA IDEA & LumaDent Loupes Scholarship
The Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association’s IDEA Committee is proud to partner with LumaDent to present a Loupe Scholarship for two 2.5x Galilean TTL loupes to a deserving dental hygiene student and practicing dental hygienist. The ADHA25 Wellness Countdown Challenge. New This Year!
Even members who don't attend can participate. This year, we’ll also offer an opportunity for our health-conscious members to share their wellness journey leading up to the ADHA25, while raising funds for the ADHA Foundation.
The ADHA25 Wellness Countdown is a peer-to-peer fundraiser where you can set your own personalized goals, create a page to share with colleagues, family, and friends, collect pledges and funds from your network of supporters, and post updates about your progress along the way.
