Wednesday, May 20: Governor Carney joined Wolf Blitzer on CNN's The Situation Room to discuss strategies for Delaware's rolling reopening and updates on COVID-19 in Delaware.

Wearing a  face covering  in public settings where you can’t socially distance can help protect others, especially our most vulnerable neighbors. If we act with a sense of community, and care for others, we’ll get through this more quickly.

Division of Small Business Announces COVID-19 Protection Standards

The Delaware Division of Small Business has developed a list of COVID-19 Customer Protection Standards based on the general guidelines for all businesses in the Phase 1 guidance released on May 15 and guidance from the Division of Public Health.

Businesses following the Standards, using the program checklist, can get a free window cling to put at their front entrance as a way to show customers that they are working to follow safety guidelines.

Delaware Department of Agriculture Issues Guidance for U-Pick Farms

 

Wednesday, May 20: The Delaware Department of Agriculture (DDA) issued guidance to help local U-Pick farms safely open to the public for the season. DDA recommends that residents call ahead to their local farm to confirm that they are offering U-Pick this season and to set up an appointment to go to the farm.
