This is a friendly reminder that beginning on June 27, 2023, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will require one-time attestation of eight hours of CME accredited training on management of substance use disorders (SUDs) prior to renewal of a DEA registration.
The FAFP responded by quickly developing education courses that satisfy the requirement addressing the treatment and management of opioid and other substance use disorders. The best part is, it is provided at NO COST to FAFP members.
In fact, all FAFP enduring educational programs provided in the FAFP Online Library are offered complimentary to FAFP members and can be completed at your own convenience.
This is yet another example of how the FAFP provides value-based programs and services to support our members. Click here for FAFP SUD topics, learning objectives, and SAMHSA core curriculum elements.
