This past year, the Torah world of America came together in unprecedented fashion for Rav Shlomo Kanievsky during his weeks-long trip to the United States to save his yeshiva, Yeshiva Kiryas Melech in Bnei Brak.

From New York to Los Angeles and cities in between, Yidden opened their hearts, inspired by the opportunity to support Yeshiva Tiferes Tzion/Kiryas Melech, one of the most respected institutions of higher Torah learning in all of Eretz Yisroel.
Rav Shlomo carried the full responsibility for the financial burden of the yeshiva, following the guidance of his father, Rav Chaim Kanievsky, and his grandfather, Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, who encouraged him to do whatever he can to ensure the growth and vitality of Tiferes Tzion/Kiryas Melech.

Now, due to the worldwide restrictions on travel due to Covid-19, Rav Shlomo is unable to undertake his usual fundraising trips to raise money to keep the yeshiva going. Funds are desperately needed and Rav Shlomo is now turning to us.

The yeshiva that we all saved, the yeshiva whose rosh yeshiva we all welcomed, the yeshiva whose continued vitality is in our zechus, needs our help at this time once again.

In fact, the plight of the yeshiva is so close to the heart of the rosh yeshiva’s father, the gadol hador, Rav Chaim Kanievsky, that Rav Chaim will be setting aside time every single day of the upcoming Yom Tov of Chanukah to daven for those who come to the yeshiva’s aid at this crucial time.

This campaign for Yeshiva Kiryas Melech is vital, and Rav Chaim has stressed the continued zechus of participating in this effort of hachzokas haTorah.
Rav Shlomo and the talmidim of the yeshiva need our help. They need us to step up and do what we can, contributing generously to sustain this outstanding citadel of Torah.

Let’s do our part.
