Communication is clearly two-ways, even if it doesn’t feel like it sometimes for those of us living with hearing loss, and for those of us living with those with hearing loss.
Invite your families and friends (the hearing others) to come, listen, bring tales, and hear the anecdotes of those of us who don’t always practice what we preach- clear, concise, forward-facing conversation, within a reasonable distance from one another, and with a minimum of background noise.
Please email either Lou Sakin (ALDA) at louissakin@aol.com or Sue Schy (HLAA) at sueschy@gmail.com.
Zoom link will be provided once you RSVP! |
