September 2023 Newsletter

Photo of Samantha, a DEAF, Inc. Advocate, she is wearing a red shirt, glasses, and is smiling with her two brown dogs by her side.

Sammie loves taking care of her children, which include a teenager, 2 puppies, and 3 cats! Being outdoors, lounging in their backyard, hiking, and going to beaches are ways they love to spend time together. Outside of work, Sammie enjoys floral arrangement as her passion. She believes everyone should do what they love and what makes them happy. Keep in mind, it is ok to ask for help.

This September, find something that makes you passionate and enjoy your time with the people around you!

From the Executive Director

Hello!

It was so great to see you all at our Farewell 215 event! We had so much fun reflecting on 46 years of DEAF, Inc.

Much laughter and joyous tears were shared among the attendees.

Several individuals recounted fond memories of the former sections within the old building, which had been utilized and shared with another company in the past.
