Gain Insight on the Latest Teen Consumer Trends
As a long-time DECA partner, Piper Sandler is interested in our student members' opinions. One way we can support our partnership is to have all DECA members participate in the “Taking Stock with Teens Survey.”

Use the guided lesson plan and results from the spring survey to engage your students in a real-world marketing research project. If your students have not taken the survey this fall, we encourage you to do so by September 16, 2022.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
This classroom connection will provide instructional resources to introduce the following National Curriculum Standards:

  • Explain the concept of market and market identification.
  • Explain factors that influence customer buying behavior.
  • Describe the need for marketing data.
  • Describe the use of technology in the marketing-information management function.
  • Explain the characteristics of effective data-collection instruments.
