I am so very appreciative of the rich legacy left for us to continue and am equally excited for this new chapter of Arizona DECA! I'm humbled by all of the kind words and support I've received so far as your new Executive Director and High School Division State Advisor. I am just thrilled to already see firsthand how we come together to demonstrate ourselves as One Diamond, One Family... and the school year is just getting underway! I'm beyond excited to see what we accomplish!
At Arizona DECA, we are dedicated to the support and enrichment of our students' total learning experience. We strive to help students become the best possible version of themselves by working in concert with our program partners and offering resources both in and out of the classroom. Utilizing DECA as a teaching and learning strategy as an integral element of your program will help ensure your students have every tool necessary for success. Whether this means proving mastery of the Arizona Academic Standards or demonstrating command of the Arizona Professional Skills Standards, DECA offers competitive event and leadership resources, as well as leadership and career development conferences, to help accomplish these goals. In the words of our founder, Eugene Dorr, "we can make this year the stepping stone for constantly greater goals and challenges."
