New "Possibilities" for 138Kv poles

Make your voice heard!

With the defeat of Proposition 412, TEP went back to the drawing board and presented the public with a newly named 138 kV project, the Midtown Reliability Project. Recently, TEP published a map with "opportunities"/ segments, seen as the green lines, for possible inclusion in the routes for the 138Kv pylons and overhead lines. Unfortunately, Jefferson Park has many more green "opportunities" than our neighbors, due to the proposed location of the substation planned for Vine and Lester, which would force the lines into and out of JP. Note: The red-hatched areas are identified as constraints, indicating that it would be more difficult but not impossible to erect poles and lines in these areas.

TEP seeks public input. Please take time to look at the map more closely and submit comments. To see the map in greater detail and to add your comments, click on: https://www.tep.com/maps/midtown/
