Limited Status

DEN D-Clearance and Registration

Spring 2025

Hello DEN@Viterbi Limited Status Students!

Please review the registration memo for updates regarding Spring 2025 registration.

Limited Status Student Policy Reminders

Limited Status students can take a maximum of 12 units under the limited-status enrollment category.

  • If you complete your 12th unit as a limited-status student this semester, you will not be eligible to take another course in Summer 2024 unless you have been formally admitted to a degree or certificate program.
  • If you exceed the 12-unit maximum, the last course taken will not count towards meeting degree requirements.

We strongly encourage limited students to apply for formal admission as soon as possible. Please review the information on how to apply for formal admission.

The Spring 2025 schedule of classes is available now. https://classes.usc.edu/
