Master artist Chazz Miller, joined by some young proteges, worked on this mural at The Artist Village, home of the Detroit Blight Busters, as part of the 14th annual ARISE Detroit! Neighborhoods Day on Aug. 1. It was one of more than100 Neighborhoods Day events across the city involving churches, block clubs and community groups. The Artist Village is located on Lahser near Grand River in northwest Detroit.
