A $5.5 million award from the Bernard Osher Foundation will allow the UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) to bring integrative health to the broader community.
The DFMCH is proud that 16 fourth-year UW School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH) students matched into family medicine residency programs nationwide on March 18, 2022.
People in and seeking recovery from substance use disorders and their friends and family members joined professionals and allies at the state Capitol to mark Stand Up for Recovery Day on April 27.
The DFMCH Residency Big Team recently completed 28 modules designed to help UW Health employees better understand their roles in facilitating diverse, equitable, and inclusive spaces and create an ongoing and sustainable culture of inclusion.
