Here's the details of our process, if you missed the first email and are new to us.

As most of you know, DFW Fiber Fest's Vendor Hall is a juried show that is carefully curated and focuses mainly on Texas and regionally-based (from AR, CO, LA, MS, MO and NM) vendors of yarns, fibers and tools that are used for the crafts of knitting, crochet, spinning and weaving.

We also love to be able to bring in select vendors from outside of our regionally-defined area so our attendees can get that up-close, in-person touch and feel of other highly sought-after products.
DFW Fiber Fest has moved to a September date and will be held Sept. 22-25, 2022, with the vendor hall being open Sept. 23-25. The event will be held in Irving, TX, at the Irving Convention Center with load-in and Vendor Hall setup being Thursday, Sept. 22.  In 2019, our event had about 900 students and over 3000 attendees through the door over the course of the three days that our Vendor Hall was open to the public. Our Vendor Hall hours are 9am-6pm on Friday and Saturday and then 10am-4pm on Sunday.
PLEASE be careful with your entries - especially on phone numbers, email addresses and websites. We would never penalize people for misspellings on answers to most questions, but if we cannot see your products or get in touch with you due to mistyped contact information, that would be unfortunate.

If you’re new to our application process, let us tell you a little about us, in relation to the Vendor Hall. We seek a variety of vendors in our Vendor Hall. We look for a mix of returning vendors and new vendors. Many of our attendees return year after year and appreciate knowing that some vendors have always been part of the vendor hall and will likely have a booth again in the upcoming event. We also want new vendors who will bring excitement and anticipation of the unknown, as people contemplate what treasures and unique items they will find. We try to hold fast to our roots of introducing some newer hand dyers to our market. If you are just starting out, don't let that deter you from applying. We also have some introductory, smaller booths we call Stitcher’s Row, for those just starting out.

Our vendor hall is a source for people who enjoy making, producing and giving all things fiber. We choose vendors who offer tools and materials for our attendees to take with them and use to make finished products. We look for the tried-and-true product lines along with things that are new and innovative. We look for vendors who follow the trends - and get ahead of them. We look for attractive booths that are visually pleasing to our attendees.

We are not your typical "Arts and Crafts Show." You won't find booths full of knitted or crocheted items for purchase. There are a lot of fairs and festivals out there that do cater to that market. We just do not. The completed items people see in our Vendor Hall are generally samples for the attendees to get an idea of what they can do with your product.

We are also not a "Barn Show." While several of our vendors have farms and ranches and bring products from those ventures, we do not have space or the facilities appropriate for livestock.

Our Covid-19 and Diversity policies are included below.
We cannot wait to hear from you!

Covid-19 Policies
For our Vendor Hall and the public areas around the Vendor Hall on the first level of the convention center, we plan to have a mandatory masking requirement for everyone, including vendors, volunteers and attendees.

For our Classroom level, our students and teachers will be required to wear a mask and provide proof of vaccination.

We came to this decision based on guidance from the CDC. This has been a very fluid situation over the last two years and we will make any further decisions based on updates from the CDC as September draws closer. Please understand that we have the entirety of our community and their health in mind as we make these decisions. Thanks for understanding that we are doing our best with what we have. If you have comments/questions about this policy, please direct them to

Diversity is Key
DFW Fiber Fest is a community of diverse individuals who compose our staff, teachers, attendees and vendors. We are a family. All of us. Whether you are a grandma who started the family or someone who married in yesterday - you are welcome at our event. Liz has said it publicly before: Our hearts wish that our society and community was beyond needing to say this - but we want there to be no question that every person is welcome through our doors and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, height, weight, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations, or marital status. On the same note, we do not and will not tolerate open discrimination of any kind on our Vendor Hall floor. Any reported incidences of discrimination will be dealt with immediately and fairly. If the offending party is a vendor, and the complaint is found to be warranted, penalties will result in immediate removal from the premises and there will be no refund of any vendor fees.
