Luncheon Keynote Speaker
Fire Chief Picciotto will serve as the keynote speaker at the 23rd Annual Employee of the Year Luncheon on April 25. He will recount his service during the 9/11 NY terrorist attacks when he was on the scene and saved numerous lives.

Foundation Board
Trustees to serve in 2019
The DFWHC Foundation has announced its Board of Trustees for 2019. Pamela Stoyanoff, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Methodist Health System, will serve as the 2019 Chair.

Substance Misuse
CHC to release regional data
Seven North Texas counties have higher drug/alcohol death rates than national averages and Opioids are the most dispensed drugs according to data to be released by the Community Health Collaborative.

Mental Health Awareness
Award for community work
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) North Texas presented its 2018 community awards on Dec. 6 in Dallas. DFWHC and the Foundation were awarded for their work in increasing awareness.
