Patient Safety Summit
350-plus attendees turn out
Day two of the DFW Hospital Council Foundation’s 11th Annual Patient Safety Summit closed out on Tuesday at the Arlington Convention Center with more than 350 attendees participating in 10 educational sessions.

Ligature Risk Standards
Foundation to host Oct. 1 class
The DFWHC Foundation will host the complimentary educational event "Ligature Risk Standards" on Monday, Oct. 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Reps from CMS will serve as speakers

United Way films video
The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas visited the DFWHC Foundation offices last week to film segments of a promotional video touting the Better Skills Better Jobs Grant. Our own Sally Williams was an interview subject!

Sepsis Challenge
Foundation sponsors 5K
The DFWHC Foundation will serve as a sponsor of the "Dallas Fort Worth Sepsis Challenge," a community 5K run and walk on Sept. 1 at 9:00 a.m. at Trinity Park in Fort Worth. The event is hosted by the Sepsis Alliance.
