DFW Pug Rescue

Dallas/Ft. Worth Pug Rescue Newsletter - September 2016
Good Morning! It's North Texas Giving Day
Please GET UP & GIVE to DFW Pug Rescue Club today!

We need your help to respond to a record number of rescues and escalating veterinary care expenses. Since the beginning of the year, the number of rescued pugs has increased 54%. Rescues have risen from 26 pugs to 41 pugs a month. The cost to vet each rescued pug now averages $700 - up from $450 last year. For those needing specialty services, such as surgeries, heartworm treatment, or to address other special needs, the cost may exceed $7,000.

Donations of $25 or more made between 6:00 a.m. - midnight today will receive bonus gifts from Communities Foundation of Texas. All donations to DFW Pug Rescue will make it possible for the organization to continue to rescue pugs in distress, help pugs regain their health, and prepare them for loving, safe homes.

Two ways to donate:
  1. Between 6am and midnight, go to  NorthTexasGivingDay.org  and enter DFW Pug Rescue in the "Find An Organization" search bar on the right to donate to our organization.

  2. Go directly to our page HERE.
