Mr. Joyner will host a virtual town-hall meeting tomorrow night starting at 6:30.

Important information from the orientation video about starting the school year will be shared, and there will be an opportunity for students and parents to ask questions. The meeting will be recorded and a link will be posted to the DHHS website, so you may also view it at a later date.

Chromebook & Hot Spot Distribution News

Chromebooks will be distributed at the school the week of August 10^th in a drive-thru setting. A schedule for pick-up will be shared once Chromebooks arrive on campus and are ready for distribution.

If you are in need of a Chromebook, hot spot, or Chromebook repair, please complete this form (No need to complete if you already submitted info last week).

Class Schedules

DCSD official release date for schedules in Infinite Campus will be August 10^th.

The window for schedule change requests is August 10- 21.

Information on how to access Infinite Campus is located here. If you need additional assistance you may email registrar, Ms. Swanson.

Some students and families are accessing schedules through platforms other than Infinite Campus. These are not official schedules and may be subject to change. Please look for your schedule in Infinite Campus next Monday. Information and links for the schedule change process will be provided August 10^th.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE CONTINUES

Please join us in supporting ALL our students so they can put their best foot forward. Although we are not starting the year in-person, we would like to provide our students with school supplies in order for virtual learning to go smoothly.

In these challenging times, it is important that we come together as a community and help our students succeed.

Drop off school supplies at the DHHS front porch BETWEEN 8:00 AM & 2:00 PM, through 8/14.

DHHS ART DEPARTMENT APPEAL

DHHS art teacher Ms. Staci Allen has a Donors Choose campaign specifically to acquire 3D materials for her classes. These materials will assist our advanced-level 3D students at home with completing online assignments and allowing them to further develop their portfolios for college and/or the AP College Board exam.

The candidate declaration window for our school’s Principal Advisory Council will be open through Friday, August 21^st. Complete the form below to run for an elected parent/guardian position on the school’s Council. If you are a current PAC parent/guardian representative with a term ending September 30, 2021, you do not need to reapply.

Review the Continuous School Improvement Plan and monitor progress toward goals
Participate in the selection of the school principal
