Sunny Kishore co-led the development of the UC Way on Hypertension Medication algorithm with the University of California Office of the President. The treatment algorithm is designed to decrease variation in care and improve outcomes in hypertension control across UC Health.

Welcome DHM New Hire - January 2024

Natalie Francis earned her medical degree from University of Chicago and completed her residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She loves spending time outside rollerblading, biking, pickle ball, running and exploring the city on foot. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find her having a quiet moment drinking coffee by the window.

Equity & Belonging in Hospital Medicine

A "pearl" in promoting Equity and Belonging is a short, action-oriented, topic that aims to raise awareness, increase concern, and share strategies to mitigate our institutional inequities and promote inclusion.

What is the origin of our discontents? Beginning in February, Black History Month, the ‘Health Equity and Belonging’ pearls have been exploring this question. We will promote critical consciousness, and we will seek solutions with application of the learning to concrete hospital medicine situations. Read more here.
