Aches & Pains? We can help! Whether it’s walking the dog or taking a bike ride, at Athletico we believe there is freedom from pain. Request a free assessment here with a movement expert from our partner, Athletico Physical Therapy. Free Assessments are available in-clinic or virtually through their Telehealth platform.

Have you heard? NorthShore University Health System is now Endeavor Health. As Illinois’ third largest health system, Endeavor Health delivers world-class care with empathy and compassion. At the Endeavor Health Orthopaedic & Spine Institute, our team of sports specialists includes primary care sports medicine, and pediatric orthopaedics and sports medicine surgeons - all of whom are fellowship - and specialty-trained.

These experts are dedicated to providing comprehensive sports medicine care for athletes of all ages, including pediatric sports injuries, as well as nonsports-related injuries and musculoskeletal care. Our primary care sports medicine team cares for medical issues affecting young athletes, such as concussions, sports physicals, injury prevention, counseling, nutritional concerns and overtraining. If treatment requires surgical care, pediatric and sports medicine surgeons treat injuries, including torn ligaments, tendons and fractures, using the latest minimally invasive techniques. This same team also covers our Orthopaedic & Spine Immediate Care sites, which means musculoskeletal experts are treating pediatric patients even in acute situations. Your best health—and Warriors athletes’ best health—is our endeavor.

It’s always the right time to teach our kids about standing up for what they believe in. Starting these conversations early can build confidence and resilience, and CTAD’s October/November newsletter offers helpful tools for families to support these valuable lessons. Whether it’s through CTAD’s 60 Second Conversation Starter or tips on promoting integrity in your child’s choices, these resources can help open the door to meaningful dialogue.

In this CTAD Newsletter:

  • Drug-Free because YOU CARE
  • 60 Second conversation starter

The mission of the District 113 Foundation is to enrich the student experience at Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools by fostering innovative programs and opportunities. We work closely with the teachers and administrators at both schools to understand their needs and desires to make our schools better. Thanks to our community’s generous support, the Foundation successfully funded $33,000 in grants submitted last year. Here are some noteworthy highlights of what the Foundation granted in 2023/2024.

The DHS Driving Simulator

Offers a safe and controlled environment for all students to experience realistic driving scenarios, including the effects of drugs, alcohol and texting while driving, delivering instant feedback.

DHS School AI App

A school-wide acquisition of the artificial intelligence (“AI”) app will enhance both staff productivity as well as student learning with tools such as lesson plans, worksheets, tutoring sessions and much more.

Envolve

Leadership training for students at DHS and HPHS to train our student leaders to engage the entire student body and promote inclusion through suggested activities.

We are committed to pursuing our mission of maximizing the impact of every dollar, dedicated to fortifying District 113 through investments in our teachers and students.
