Committee Volunteers Wanted!

First Commonwealth Bank It's a Wonderful Life Festival
Even though we're only one month into 2018 plans are underway for downtown Indiana's holiday celebration. The planning committee for the First Commonwealth Bank It's a Wonderful Life Festival is forming and we are looking for committee members who have an interest in helping to plan and execute the festival. Committee members attend regular meetings and focus on entertainment and programming, volunteers, festival logistics and marketing. Committee members also volunteer during the festival in November and December.

Northern Appalachian Folk Festival
Downtown Indiana is also looking forward to the  Northern Appalachian Folk Festival on September 8, 2018.  The Northern Appalachian Folk Festival, held annually the weekend after Labor Day in Downtown Indiana, fills two blocks of  Philadelphia Street with  free live music, exhibits, demonstrations, and craft and food vendors. We also have a popular Children's Alley with games and activities geared to younger festival-goers. The week leading up to the festival will feature activities and events throughout the downtown as well. Committee members are needed to work on vendor and volunteer recruitment, festival layout and logistics, programming and more!

If you are interested in eithe of these committees, please contact Linda Mitchell at Downtown Indiana at 724-463-6110 or linda@downtownindiana.org.
