In an effort to raise money for the Alice Paul House and other local agencies, Quota International of Indiana, PA invites you to attend the annual Sound Beginnings Social on Thursday, February 1st from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Th IUP University Museum (Sutton Hall) will host an opening reception for the exhibit Memory and Magic: Folk Artists on Saturday, February 03,
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. The exhibit will run through March 10 and features
scenes of daily life, such as those painted by Linton Park, Eunice McCloskey, Richard Cooper, and others. Also included are imaginative works of Mary Hamilton of Clarion County and others. The pieces are from the University Museums permanent collection and on loan from private collections. More info here.
