One of the most well-known excipients that we stock from
Innophos is
DI-TAB®, a dicalcium phosphate dihydrate that comes unmilled in either USP or FCC grade.
DI-TAB® consists of white, odorless, and tasteless granules.

Practically insoluble in cold water and in ethanol (96 per cent), it dissolves in dilute hydrochloric acid and in dilute nitric acid. It is used as an excipient in the manufacture of medicinal and nutraceutical products, plus it provides a bioavailable source of calcium and phosphorus in nutritional supplements.
DI-TAB® is suitable for vitamin and mineral formulations as well as over-the- counter and prescription drugs. When used as a directly compressible excipient, it increases calcium and phosphorus with a bioavailability equivalent to milk. The product is designed to have excellent flow properties with over 95% of granules between 40 and 325 US sieve mesh.
