That's what took place effective September 1 of this year.  On that day, a new model was embraced by Diagnostic Imaging Services in entering into an agreement with Reliant Radiology, LLC to be the exclusive provider of radiology services.  With this agreement comes two very important points.

1. The Reliant Radiology group are comprised of radiologists who have been educated at some of the nation's most respected programs and universities, with many having advanced fellowship training, bringing a high level of talent and proficiency in their chosen specialty.
2. The principals of Reliant, Dr. Louis Schruff, Jr. and Dr. Brad Shore are now part owners of DIS.  This represents true local physician ownership with a vested interest in partnering with physicians, health care providers, insurance companies and medical practices.

Many tout high quality.  Others speak of radiologists who care.  Some promote comfort and convenience.  The DIS-Reliant enterprise provides all of that and more.  With local physician ownership comes a strong, involved medical group that goes above and beyond the test and report that goes to your doctor.
