TOP TRENDS: 5 WAYS CONSTRUCTION WILL EVOLVE IN 2020

ECONOMISTS MAKE 2020 CONSTRUCTION PREDICTIONS

Construction economists are not sugarcoating their outlook on the industry in 2020. The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation (ELFF) forecasts slower growth in the economy next year, and predicts equipment investment will be weak. In addition, construction and input costs for key building materials such as steel are rising, largely driven by limited supply and tariff uncertainties.
