Today Governor Phil Murphy called for a new economic master plan for New Jersey targeting tech-oriented firms. He proposed raising $500 million in a venture program- New Jersey Innovation Evergreen Fund (NJIEF), which would partner with private-sector companies to raise and "co-invest" in New Jersey-based startups.
NLRB PROPOSES RULE TO CHANGE JOINT-EMPLOYER STANDARD-
The NLRB is proposing rule revisions that would change the salary level for exemption of executive, administrative and professional employees. The rule would establish, if adopted, procedures to
use an employee's "regular rate" when determining the overtime premium for a particular workweek.
