Program Highlights

Our first ever Elevate training is in the books!

  • Topics covered included motivational interviewing, drug user health, maternal and congenital syphilis case studies, harm reduction, regenerative leadership, and the DiSC assessment.
  • Participants who complete the training will have the opportunity to join our next training course, Summit, later this year.
  • Complete DIS 2 online modules now to be eligible for the next session of Elevate in August 2026!

CDI Program Launch!

The Certified in Disease Intervention (CDI) certification program has launched, and exam fees are currently being waived! This certification boosts recognition; establishes a national standard for DIS; and validates your knowledge, skills, and competences in Disease Intervention. Learn more today!

In the Field: IDEA Exchange

In this quarter’s newsletter, we spotlight the IDEA Exchange, a harm reduction group in Tampa, Florida. In February, Elevate training participants toured the IDEA Exchange to learn about their services, including syringe exchange, testing, care linkage, treatment referrals, overdose prevention, mental health counseling, insurance enrollment, safer injection education, wound care, basic needs assistance, sexual health support, and community outreach. DIS 3 and 4 are Coming Soon!

Our online modules designed for DIS professionals are divided into 4 sections. The last two sections will become available this Spring and Summer! You will learn about a variety of topics such as Correctional Health, Human Trafficking, Social Marketing, Data Management, Program Evaluation, Budget Management, Mentorship, and more. Complete DIS 2 now to be eligible for DIS 3 when it launches!
