The tremendous loss of Charlie Kirk is being felt around the world. His positive impact on people, especially the youth, brought more to the Kingdom of God than most churches.. Genesis 50:20 reads "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” This will prove true after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Thousands of young people are praying, getting their first bibles, being baptized, attending church, and changing their worldview for the first time. There is an outcry “I AM CHARLIE KIRK”, meaning we all should emulate the strong, courageous, patriotic, and Christian he was. Isaiah 6:8 reads” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” That is what Charlie Kirk’s calling and mission were, and he did not just stand inside a building, but he met the enemy (Satan) on the battlefield speaking the truth to college and high school students, answering their cultural questions on which they were so confused, while always pointing them to the one and only true God.
Charlie knew we were losing our youth to evil, and he always advocated for Biblical values, love of God, to be courageous men and women, get married, have children, and love our country. Having over thirty million followers, he was a professed conservative and was a strong voice for freedom of speech and open dialogue. He did not hesitate to address those who remained silent due to fear, jealousy, or indifference in the face of cultural challenges—an issue frequently not discussed by many churches. Charlie and Pastor Allen Jackson of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, organized a Culture Conference this past weekend, which proceeded as planned, despite a cowardly assassin. For those seeking a church community, Pastor Allen Jackson’s YouTube channel provides regular discussions on cultural topics. However, attending and/or belonging to a church is highly encouraged.
The people who are smearing his name are nothing short of liars; there was nothing about Charlie Kirk that deserved such name-calling. We should all remember how the people mocked our Lord before and after they killed Him. The ones attacking Charlie are not lovers of America, God, or family but they are lost in the darkness of hatred and ignorance. Nevertheless, Charlie still loved them and worked to bring the “Light of Truth” to them.
I am ashamed to say many pastors did not mention his assassination or his work, and they never lifted a prayer up for his grieving widow and young babies behind their pulpits. However, that shame is theirs to carry. Even Charlie’s pastor and Dr. Ben Carson alluded to this at the Memorial Sunday.
It is no accident that Charlie founded Turning Point USA when he was only 18 years old as his death is creating a wave of Turning Points not only in individual lives but also in America and abroad. At last count, 65,000 applications have been received to start new chapters around the world. When a MARTYR DIES HIS POWER GROWS!
May God watch over Charlie’s wife, Erika, giving her the strength and courage she will need as she now must raise her babies without their father. Lord, give her peace beyond all understanding.
