DIY - NOT ALWAYS THE ANSWER
These two plumbing “repairs” were observed during an inspection in September. So if you can’t make a trip to Lowe’s, just use what you got in your basement. If the hole is bigger than a screw just use an empty soda can.
Obviously, this is not the way it should be done. If you’re unable or unwilling to make repairs please call a licensed professional. Making repairs such as these only puts off having to do the correct repair work.
