Dear Members & Friends,
Its been a chilly start to the year, but we can look forward to Spring approaching soon, and we have an exciting month ahead of us!
We started the month with January Nordic Drinks hosted by Stressless, where members enjoyed some Nordic hospitality at the inspiring Norwegian brand store in central London. It was wonderful to see so many of our members enjoying the first Nordic Drinks of 2023. The next Nordic Drinks will be held at the offices of Statkraft, Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy. Spots fill out fast, so be sure to secure yours. We hope to see as many of you there!
This month we are partnering with Djøf to host an evening discussion: “Are UK Politics Broken?”, an evening of learning more about the British system and why Scandinavian elections look so different from the British system.
The Young Professionals are also organising networking drinks this month, both here in London and Copenhagen – you will get the chance to meet other young professionals in the Nordic community, so check out our website for further information.
Tickets for the Nordic Private Equity Conference taking place on 2nd March are now on sale! The conference will host a panel of distinguished speakers representing top International Private Equity firms, who will join us at the Gowling WLG London offices and share their insight and expert advice. There will also be an opportunity for speakers and attendees to network along with drinks and canapés.
Back by popular demand, we are once again hosting the International Chambers Wine, Beer and Spirits tasting on 7th March; there are limited tickets available so be quick to secure yours!
As you will see, we have planned a great line-up of activities and events, and we hope to see you at them!
