DKUK Newsletter July 2020
Dear Members & Friends,

It's no secret that the spring and summer of 2020 have not been as anyone expected. It is with great pleasure that we have witnessed you, the members, adapt to circumstances whilst remaining both active and progressive members of the Association. For that, we are both proud and honoured!

We are also pleased to welcome Vice-Chair, Louis De Courcy Wheeler as the contributor of this summer editorial, which will be the last newsletter before the summer holidays. He will be looking back at the year of 2019 - offering a nostalgic look at the "old normal"

As we enter July, this also marks the last month for the two current interns of the Associations - Kristine and Henrik. The Association thanks them both for their great work throughout the last year, and please do join us in wishing them both all the best in the future. Further down, you will find both of their "goodbye-words", and we invite you to have a read!

On that note, we wish you all a great summer with your hearest and dearest.

Kind and safe regards,

DKUK Team (Deanne, Kristine, Gunnar & Henrik)
Editorial by Louis de Courcy Wheeler, Vice-Chair, Danish-UK Association
At about this time of year, as we prepare for our AGM, we look back over the previous year. As 2020 is proving to be so unusual, with many successful webcasts and virtual events, but none of our usual face-to-face activities or social events, it is particularly poignant to remember the old “normal”!
