DKUK Newsletter November 2020
|
|
Dear Members and Friends,
We have another bumper edition of the newsletter ready for you and I am really pleased to see there is so much to report. There is so much going on across the membership, many great examples of great activity - and that is really really positive to see, I think, and I trust you agree.
What I am in particular pleased to see is fellow member 1 Lombard, despite their adversities, have decided to make a Danish Christmas Lunch week from 7th – 11th December. Yes, you read that right – a week with a Danish Christmas menu available. Where there are business reasons to have meetings that week, you can do so over a good meal experience and do so up to the max of 6 people that are allowed to convene under current guidelines, hoping the pending 1 month lockdown starting this week, will be over by then again.
So I am planning that - as we from the office unfortunately are not busy organising the annual DKUK Christmas lunch on the 11th December this year – we will have a DKUK Team meeting that day, Friday 11th December, over lunch under proper distancing rules.
If you are planning a lunch meeting that week, why not consider supporting one of your fellow members and book too? For more on how you can book your Christmas lunch meeting see below or follow this link – 1 Lombard Danish Christmas Lunch Week.
With this bumper edition we also have great news from, for example, Off The Pitch, Hausfeld and Impelity; about new DKUK Board members; carrying great special offers for DKUK Members; and events like “Are Danes really as funny as they think?” – intriguing I believe you will find! So, grab your favourite brew, sit back, put your feed up and take your time to read it all. I welcome any comments!
On behalf of my team at DKUK, Helena and Deanne, I wish you all a good read and week ahead.
Kind regards,
Gunnar P Larsen
