DKUK Newsletter October 2020
Dear Members & Friends,

Summer is now coming to an end and it has certainly been a very unpredictable yet interesting time for us all. Autumn and the cooler weather are upon us, and with that we are looking forward to another busy season of activities, events and connections.

We are planning some very exciting and inspiring events. Amongst these is an initiative led by our YP council on Managing Uncertainty during Times of Crisis. Open to you all whether you are an actual Young Professional by age or a Young Professional in mind we have a fantastic panel of speakers lined up including Brian Mikkelsen from Dansk Erhverv, business man and vice-mayor Lars-Christian Brask and serial entrepreneur Mads Faurholt. Make sure you sign up for this event – free for all members.

Finally, a special thanks to Kim Bildsøe, DR, and Divya Das, TV2, who have written this month’s editorial, which is about their experiences and insights while in the UK. Many of you will have met either or both of them while they were here and this will be a story about their time in the UK.

Kind regards,
DKUK Team (Deanne, Helena & Gunnar)
Editorial by Divya Das and Kim Bildsøe

We report for the two largest broadcasting networks in Denmark, DR and TV 2, and have now returned home. It was not an easy decision to leave the UK, but alas – that is the nature of our work.
