The deadline to apply for a summer scholarship is 4 p.m. on Fri., April 9th.
The DMACC Diversity Commission Student Scholarship recognizes deserving students who demonstrate leadership skills, character, diversity and the potential to be future leaders, and who are interested in or are engaged in some level of diversity,
equity and/or inclusion in their lives.
The Commission awards six scholarships, in the amount of $500 each, every semester (fall, spring and summer). Applications are evaluated by members of the Diversity Commission for content, experiences and overall personal/career goals.

In reality, there is no class for successfully launching your career, but there are concrete and definite steps you can take to make sure the leap from school to work is a positively impactful one. From what to ask, what to wear, what to read, and how to prep for the very first day, you'll learn how to launch your career that sets you up for the greatest upward mobility.

Work Study Job Opportunity
The Newton DMACC Campus has an opening for a Work Study Job Opening.
- It will be at the front desk and you would be greeting students and visitors who arrive at the Newton Campus Building. Offer directions to various building locations. Provide contact information for faculty and staff, and offer the lobby telephone if needed.
- Qualifications for this position are Excellent customer service skills, helpful attitude and an understanding of the DMACC telephone system.
- This position will start immediately.
- Pay is $9.50 per hour.

DMACC plans to resume its Study Abroad Program in February 2022.
Are you interested in spending a semester abroad? It’s not too early to start planning! If you think you want to spend 8 weeks in the United Kingdom as a DMACC student, come to one of our upcoming info meetings. You’ll learn about how the program is structured, how to pay for your trip, and what you can learn from studying in one of Europe’s most diverse, vibrant cities.
