What's New!

  • News from the County: County residents can now receive information about the novel coronavirus via text thanks to the County COVID-19 public information text message alert system. The system allows County health officials to send real-time information about COVID-19 in the region. To sign up to receive the messages, text COSD COVID19 to 468-311. You can also visit this link at any time to get the latest information from the County health department, including advisories, disease spread statistics, advice, resources and more.
  • Insights from Don Mosier: Visit http://delmarsandpiper.org/ in order to read insights about COVID-19 from Immunologist/Microbiologist (and DMCC board member) Don Mosier.

Plus:

  • Get what you need. There is now a form on the DMCC website for you to fill out if there is an item you need to help you stay at home through this crisis. You qualify for our assistance if you are a senior or disabled citizen of Del Mar. Please fill out the form as soon as you identify the need, even if you don't need it immediately. Complete the form at this link.
  • Learn how to videoconference. Our computer tutor Klaus Gubernator wants to help you stay connected even as you stay at home. Starting on Monday, March 23rd, visit this link at 10am to learn directly from Klaus how to use the Zoom platform to meet, learn, and socialize. He will hold the training session every day.

Please share this information on your social media accounts and as you speak with neighbors so that the whole community can come together as we stay apart.
