Welcome from our new Department Chair

Dear Colleagues,

I am thrilled to embark on a new journey as the Chair of the Department

of Marketing and Professional Sales. Having been a faculty in this department since 2013, and serving most recently as Associate Dean for the Coles Undergraduate Program, I have worn many hats here and hope to leverage those perspectives while working alongside each of you to continue building on our legacy of excellence as we forge a new path ahead.

Our department has been fortunate to be shaped by a leader like Dr. Keith Tudor. His transition is both a celebration of his remarkable contributions and a moment of heartfelt farewells. We wish him all the best in his retirement, though we will undoubtedly miss his presence, leadership, and sage advice. I am honored to have him pass the baton on to me.

Our department has garnered a stellar reputation within the college, the university, and beyond. Our foundation is strong, and the potential for us to reach even greater heights is immense. The dynamic combination of our recently hired team members and our seasoned colleagues creates fertile ground for innovation and excellence.

I look forward to your support and in turn, I am committed to supporting each of you in your professional growth and success.

Cheers to a future filled with new achievements and continued collaboration!

Warm regards,

Dr. Mona Sinha

Chair and Professor, Department of Marketing & Professional Sales

Saying Farewell To Our Former Chair

It is with a mix of gratitude and nostalgia that we gather to acknowledge the retirement of our respected Keith Tudor. We reflect on the 34 years of dedication, leadership, and transformation Keith has had in shaping our academic community.

Since attaining the role of Department Chair in 1996, Keith’s leadership has propelled the curriculum to new heights. Under his guidance, we witnessed growth and development, both in terms of faculty size and academic programs. From humble beginnings of 6-7 faculty members in Willingham Hall to the lively center of 26 faculty members in the Burruss Building, Keith has been with this department since the beginning of it all.

In 1996, Keith started study abroad with Sheb True, and that program has been enriching and has had a significant impact on students, influencing how they learn and view the business world globally. With commitment to excellence, Keith has taught and shared his wealth of knowledge in every class in our department, except for Advanced Professional Sales.

As Keith embarks on a well-deserved retirement, we extend our deepest gratitude for his unparalleled contributions, mentorship, and enduring commitment to the department's success.

Please join us in extending our heartfelt appreciation to Keith Tudor for his 34 years of dedicated service and wishing him all the best in his well-deserved retirement. While he may be stepping down from his role, his impact will resonate within our department for years to come.
