Dowell Families
It was so great to see so many families at our Open House last night.  I hope that you were able to see some of the great things that go on here daily at Dowell Middle School.

Please remember that registration papers are due to math teachers on Monday for current 6th and 7th grade students.  If you have any questions about registration please do not hesitate to contact either of our assistant principals, counselors or myself.

We have two weeks left in this 9 weeks so that means that the end of the quarter tests are upon us.  Please make sure that you check with your child to make certain that they are caught up on work and going to tutoring if needed.

Thank you for all that you do to support us here at Dowell.

We will celebrate the closing of this event by hosting an I LOVE MY HEART Open Gym and Amazing Race Quest on Friday, March 9th during 6th & 7th periods. All students who donate $5 during lunches will be excused from missing their 6th and 7th period classes to attend. Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association and their fight against heart disease-the number one leading cause of death in our country.
Click Here or search "AHA MIDDLE SCHOOL" in the app store to sign up for our school's online fundraising page. Students can donate as well as email, post to social media and send text messages asking for donations. All donations will be accepted through March 9th. We need online donations to reach our goal!
Students can donate $5 during lunches for the Love My Heart Event through March 6th.
We are excited to partner with the American Heart Association for this fun event! We encourage you to talk with students about how heart disease affects your family and we hope you will support our students as they help others and raise awareness for heart disease and stroke.
