  Hello
Dowell Families

We have had a great week here at Dowell Middle School.

Our 6th graders were able to go on a wonderful field trip to downtown Dallas to see three museums that compliment what they have been learning in history.  Our students in drama were able to show off their talents by performing their One Act Play, Oz, for family and friends and our 8th grade mock trial students participated in the district competition at Collin County Courthouse.

I hope to see lots of you next week at our annual Open House.  It will be on Thursday from 5:00-6:30 pm.  We will also have our registration meetings for next school year that night, current 6th and 7th graders will be from 5:45-6:15 pm and incoming 6th graders will be from 7:15-7:45 pm.

Thanks so much for being such great partners with us every day.  Please remember that there is no school for students on Monday and our office will be closed.
.
Sincerely,
Holly Rogers
