I am pleased to share that Benjamin Mitchell has been appointed the new Director of the Driver Services Program for the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). 

“Mitch” is a dedicated leader within our division, and we are thrilled to see him step into this role to continue driving excellence in our operations and service to Coloradans.

Mitch brings over 15 years of leadership experience within the Colorado DMV, playing a key role in operational strategy, customer service improvements, and leadership development. His deep understanding of DMV operations and ability to foster collaboration have positively impacted our team and the communities we serve.

As Director of Driver Services, Mitch will oversee the Driver License and Driver Control Sections, focusing on operational excellence and ensuring our teams continue providing customers with best-in-class service.

Additionally, Crystal Soderman, currently the Traffic Records Operations Manager, has been appointed to serve as Acting Director of Driver Control. Crystal is a respected leader within and outside the DMV who brings valuable expertise and strong leadership to this role.
