Young adults with disabilities are invited to participate in a fun program designed to equip, energize, and empower. |

Through hands-on activities, artistic expression options, and real-life situations, participants will gain positive life skills: empowerment, leadership and creative expression.
- The camp can host a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 12.
- Participants must be 14 years or older and capable of independent self-care or have support for their self-care.

Cost: $80 per week. Lunch is included daily.

- We will have handcycles, trikes, recumbent bikes, and e-bikes for you to try. All bikes are adult sizes.

DNEM's Free Tandem Bike Loan Program | | |

- A tandem bike can be a bridge to independent bike riding by allowing a person to develop safe cycling skills.
- Borrowers must pick up and return the bike to our Troy office. Tandems can fit in most minivans and SUVs or on a bike rack.

Welcome Our Recreational Therapist Intern!
The DNEM RecConnect Team is taking another Recreational Therapy Intern this summer. Paige Bailey starts on Monday, May 6th and will be with us for 14 weeks. She is full-time and her desk will be located at the Troy Office.

Paige attends Central Michigan University, and this is the last portion of her bachelor's degree program. Recreational Therapists must complete a full-time professional internship in order to sit for the national certification exam. Interns are expected to function as a fully functioning therapist by week 8. Please help us to welcome Paige to our team! | | |

Head Tracking Technology
A computer mouse and trackpads are not accessible for everybody. Head tracking is a type of assistive technology that can be used in place of a computer mouse and trackpad. Watch head tracking in action and learn how it can be combined with other computer accessibility settings and programs.
