One of the artists who will be featured at Art from the Heart is Kendall Weinberg. Growing up in an artsy family, Kendall has always enjoyed creating projects at home, including digital art.
For Kendall, making art is a calming escape from overwhelming stuff in the world. She loves how creating allows her to relax, focus and find peace.
She discovered the art classes at Disability Network Eastern Michigan (DNEM) through our website and emails. The classes have opened up new creative avenues for her, such as working with gemstones. While Kendall has experimented with many mediums, painting and oil pastels are her favorites.
