The Earned Sick and Safe Days Act, signed by Governor Murphy on May 2, 2018, takes effect on October 29, 2018. The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development recently released the mandatory notice that must be posted and distributed to all New Jersey employees under the Act. MORE>
In furtherance of our efforts to support and enhance the economic vitality of NJ’s downtowns, DNJ expressed its support the Historic Property Reinvestment Act. Thirty-five states have a historic preservation tax credit. Without one, New Jersey is missing out on a proven tool for economic growth and revitalization. MORE>

Downtown New Jersey (DNJ) held its annual meeting on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the New Jersey City University School of Business on the Jersey City waterfront. The premiere downtown economic development event of the year, the DNJ Annual Conference hosted industry experts who provide insights into downtown management best practices, as well as development, business and retail market trends. DNJ also celebrated achievements in downtown economic development at its Downtown Excellence Awards presentation during lunch.   MORE>
