The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities welcomes Director Jeff Davis as the agency's new leader appointed by Governor Mike DeWine.

“I am truly humbled that Governor DeWine has entrusted me with the responsibility to lead the department. This is an opportunity and privilege of a lifetime," Davis said. "I look forward to working closely with the people we serve and their families, and those who provide and coordinate services to ensure that our system is caring and responsive.”

Davis previously served as the interim execut ive director and director of government affairs of the Ohio Provider Resource Association, where he started working in 2011. The ne w director also served as deputy director for constituent services at DODD for 16 years.

Report Released for Human Trafficking Awareness Month
It is key for Ohioans working in the developmental disabilities field to understand the signs of human trafficking and to support the people they serve to recognize the signs as well.

The Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force released its January 2019 report detailing the state's efforts to build a coordinated statewide response to human trafficking.
