Hello Ladies of the Daughters of Erin,
I'm always excited for this time of year. The Christmas meeting and party are a fun time! The Irish Woman of the Year is named, we have a great meal and a wonderful time with the Rowdy Raffle! Don't forget to gather your raffle items (single items, theme baskets or whatever you'd like to bring). The fundraising table will be set up, for Celtic shopping for the holidays!
Doors open at noon, the meeting begins at 1 p.m. and the dinner immediate follows. If you'd like to come early to set up, we will begin setting up at 10 a.m. or stay to help clean up. Come any time! Thank you in advance.
The 2023 badge will be on sale at the meeting.

DECEMBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING & CHRISTMAS DINNER
The annual December meeting and Christmas Party is Sunday, Dec. 11 at Trinity School, St. Christopher Church. The cost is $10 per person, pay at the door. An elevator is available.
Doors open at noon, come early to check in and place your raffle donations and purchase tickets. The short meeting begins at 1 p.m.
We have new raffle tickets, they are $1 each, 10 for $10 and 25 tickets for $20.
It will be a short meeting and delicious dinner - including pasta, meatballs, chicken, potatoes, sausage & peppers, gluten free pasta and desserts - pies, cheesecake and cookies.

CHARITIES | 2022 DOE ADOPTED FAMILIES
Please find the gifts for our six adopted families on the 2022 Adopt-A Families Sign-up Genius page, there are 12 children. If you would prefer to make a donation, you can donate online on the page or you can mail a check to the Daughters of Erin, P.O. Box 1912, Columbus, OH 43216.
You can drop off adopted family gifts on Saturday, Dec. 10 during the Children's Christmas Party or bring them 4:30-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 during Shamrock Club Queen of Hearts. We will wrap and organize the gifts at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Shamrock Club, 60 West Castle Road.

ANNUAL CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
Join us at the Shamrock Club, 60 W. Castle Rd. on Saturday Dec. 10. Doors open at 11 a.m., Santa arrives @ noon. Bring a wrapped gift with your child’s name on it to give to your child talking to Santa. There will be craft making, clowns making balloon animals and shapes, cookie decorating, hot dogs, punch, chips and goody bags. We'll set up at @ 9:45 a.m. and appreciate help cleaning up.
Don't forget $$ to purchase raffle tickets, to support the event.

MEMBERSHIP DUES
Annual membership dues are $10 for Junior members (under 18 years of age) and $20 for Regular members (ages 18-79).
Honorary members, age 80 and over, please confirm your information with Peggy McCathran, she will have the applications to review.

TRIP TO IRELAND 2023
Kevin Cain of The Hooligans is planning a trip to Ireland, May 6-15, 2023.
CIC Tours is organizing the trip, based on 40 people going, the cost will be approximately $2800 per person, the price may change based on how many people are going.

2023 IRISH FAMILY. REUNION
The 2023 Shamrock Club Irish Family Reunion is Friday, March 17 and will be held at the Battelle Grand Ballroom at the Columbus Convention Center, 400 N. High St. Tables are $130 per table of 10, if you purchase your table by Feb. 1, 2023. Individual tickets prices are $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 5 to 17. Children 4 and under are free.
Tables are sold on first-come basis. We have 10 tables reserved, contact President Tantes if you want a table at impala0382@yahoo.com or call 614-361-8590.
Table prices are reduced $20 per table from last year. But prices will increase to $140 per table at the first Shamrock Club meeting in February and $150 per table at the first meeting in March. Reserve now to save!
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought in and coolers will be checked. There will be food available for purchase (more to come on this). AND you may still bring your own food as in past years.
This year we have a special 50/50 drawing, with a goal selling 1,000 tickets and a payout of $5,000 to the winning number. Tickets are $10 each, and available for purchase now.

Thank you ladies for shopping at Kroger, we continue to receive funds from YOUR use of the Kroger cards! This money is raised from Kroger Cards registered through Kroger Community Rewards program.
